Party Astronauts secure spot in PGL Astana 2025 NA Closed Qualifier

Party Astronauts secured their spot in the PGL Astana 2025 North America Closed Qualifier via the second Open Qualifier, which was played on March 16th. PA finished third in this Open Qualifier behind Northern Cossacks and Straight2Killin, who were the runners-up and winner, respectively.

Twenty-three teams attended the PGL Astana NA Open Qualifier #2. Straight2Killin topped the qualifier by defeating Luigi's Mansion, backwhenever, Party Astronauts, and Northern Cossacks after having a bye in the first round.

Northern Cossacks also had a bye in the first round and went on to beat tried, CSG0DS, and Hooligangsters before losing to Straight2Killin in the grand final.

As for Party Astronauts, they took down Revel and Moniseum before ShanghaiSharks and Hooligangsters forfeited their matches. They lost to Straight2Killin between those two forfeits.

The third PGL Astana NA OQ will be played this weekend on March 21st and three more teams will advance to the Closed Qualifier, which includes heavy hitters like Wildcard, M80, NRG, and BLUEJAYS.
