Talented map maker recreates Subway Surfers in CS2

Is this the de_train everyone has been waiting for?

Talented Counter-Strike 2 map developer Lillykyu has released her latest creation to the Steam Workshop, a fully functioning recreation of popular mobile game Subway Surfers named Subway Smurfers. The map is the latest in a trilogy of adaptations of popular mobile games to CS2, with Lillykyu previously releasing adaptations of Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja on the Steam Workshop.

The adaptation is quite feature rich, with the game featuring a first-person and third-person gamemde alongside multiple soundtracks from Valve titles. In the game itself, players can find some powerups from the original title and acquire gold coins that can be used to buy knifes (in the game mode only I'm afraid).

Overall, the map is quite the novel creation and would be a fun way to burn off some steam after a tough premier match. It also serves as a great proof of concept for some of the diverse creations that can be made in CS2's map creation tools.
