You can now play Fruit Ninja in Counter-Strike 2

Let's explode some watermelons.

Remember playing Fruit Ninja on your old iPhone 6 back in the early 2010s? Well, it looks like some of that nostalgia has made its way back into the forefront of Counter-Strike after map mapper Lillykyu and artist Ethurs have created a workshop aim map with the same basic principle: destroy the fruit, score points.

The map is available now on the Steam Workshop and has been teased for several days on social media, much to the delight of fans. In several videos posted, Lillykyu has shown how the score works, the different ways to play on the amp, and how exactly the minigame works.

In Classic Mode, you have a small window where fruit is thrown into the air in the same, classic Fruit Ninja style as is slowly arcs across the screen. Just like in the traditional mode, you have three lives - one lost when you miss a fruit or accidentally shoot a bomb. The scenario gets more difficult as time moves on and becomes quite challenging.

There is also a 360 Mode where you are placed in the middle of a vast map where fruit shoots up all around, and the goal is simply to shoot as many as possible in a thirty-second window.

The scenarios are fun and creative, and while they may not be the perfect aim-training replacement, creating this map is certainly a fun way for casuals and even the more experienced players to find some fun in a videogame that seems to cause so much stress.
