Latest CS2 update fixes nade "dink"

A quick fix for the unique bug.

Valve issued out an update late last evening which fixed the an annoying and unintentional sound issue with grenades. When thrown and damage delivered to an enemy player, the grenade would emit a "dink" similar to the headshot "dink" sound.

The minor issue did cause some issues among players and even prompted FaZe star Robin "ropz" Kool to issue a frustrated post in response to the issue.

It's safe to say that the issue was patched in just under a day alongside some other fixes, including incorporating the recent 2024 PGL Copenhagen Major into the UI and some collision issues. The full patch notes are below:

MAPS

  • Vertigo
    -- Fixed a bad collision interaction between grenades and a prop.
    -- Fixed a wall bang exploit.

  • Mills
    -- Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop (Update Notes).
    -- Added localization strings for location callouts.

MISC

  • Fixed mouselook inconsistencies when game render dimensions are different from game window dimensions.

  • Fixed erroneous target aim punch animation during client-side shooting.

  • Fixed erroneous Zeus shock effect during client-side shooting.

  • Fixed a bug where Zeus headshots wouldn't emit the death yelp.

UI

  • Prior Major results are now available in the Majors tab in the Watch menu.
