Fisher College recruit Icelandic prospect

Fisher College have announced that Icelandic prospect Þorsteinn "TH0R" Friðfinnsson is set to join the Boston college's European-majority Counter-Strike 2 team. While the announcement did not mention when TH0R would be making his way to the United States, Dust2.us confirmed with Tommy "corn" Eckhart that TH0R will be joining the team's ranks during the fall semester.

While little known outside of his home country, TH0R is one of the bigger names in the small country's Counter-Strike 2 scene. Hailing from a nation of around 300,000, TH0R has spent the majority of his career with the nation's top team, DUSTY, while also winning the domestic Icelandic Esports League six times in nine seasons.

Unfortunately due to the nation's geographic isolation and small population, the Icelandic scene has struggled to make its mark internationally or see a player burst onto the wider European scene. Greater recognition for the Icelandic scene is something TH0R will likely aim to advance while in NA with his to be determined teammates next fall.
