Fisher College lose ynoT to graduation

ynoT's time with the collegiate squad saw the team challenger Davenport's legacy in NA.

On January 10th, Fisher College's coach, Anthony "ynoT" Vitale, announced his departure from the lineup following the former player's graduation from the Boston college. In total, ynoT spent two years with the collegiate team, first as a player before transitioning into a coaching role in September 2024 ahead of the addition of Tommy "corn" Eckhart to the roster. With ynoT graduating the caster also said he would be taking an indefinite pause on coaching to focus on broadcast work in 2025.

During the final months of his tenure with Fisher College, ynoT helped the team to claim a first-place finish at Fragadelphia x Tap 2 and notch a fourth-place finish in ESEA Main Season 51. With this, the team are undoubtedly NA's most successful collegiate squad since Davenport University, however the team's inability to take down any ECL squads at Fragadelphia 18 somewhat put a damper on things.

With ynoT graduating, Fisher College are now:

  • Sweden Alexander "AlekS" Andersson

  • United States Matthew "tatm" Munro

  • Nils "ReFuZR" Groot

  • Milan "CrePoW" Libbrecht

  • United States Tommy "corn" Eckhart

Fisher will make their ESEA Advanced Season 52 debut against Redacted Society on January 16th.
