EliGE on MR12: "We need more gun rounds"

The American offered his opinions for improving the state of CS2.

In an interview with r1mmi of bo3.gg, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski commented on a few issues, namely CT side economy and MR12.

Valve seemingly tried to quell the saving epidemic in the late versions of CS:GO by changing formats from MR15 to MR12 in CS2. That seems to have had the opposite effect, as with only twelve rounds in each half, one cannot afford to take risks and must be even more cautious with money - especially on the CT side.

The obvious change is to bring back MR15, but EliGE proposed another one: increasing the minimum loss bonus from $1400 to $1900. This could help the CTs avoid double saves and thus increase the number of gun rounds within a match.

Valve, while ushering in the second season of Premier in CS2, recently decreased the cost of the FAMAS and M4A4, but those changes will be very minimal, as the former isn't the CTs' rifle of choice, and the latter is the same price as the M4A1-S.

Any significant changes will have to come from the Seattle-based game developer, and whether more changes will come with CS2's third season will have to be seen.
