Revised Nouns.fe proposal falls short of approval

Another budget proposal fails, but approval is getting closer.

A revamped and revised budget for the Nouns.fe roster sadly was not approved by the Nouns Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

Earlier this month, both the Nouns and Nouns.fe roster sought approval for a combined $685,000 budget, which would have delegated $195,000 to the five players and coach for the Nouns.fe roster. That 2025 proposal was voted on by the Nouns DAO, with Nouns NFT owners casting their votes, and was soundly defeated, with 120 votes against and only six for.

The newly revised Nouns.fe proposal, which reduced player salaries and updated sustainability goals, came much closer to approval, with 95 votes for and 41 against. Sadly for Nouns.fe, the revised proposal needed to meet a threshold of 125 votes to be approved.

This doesn't mean the end of either Nouns or Nouns.fe, as both divisions are likely going to submit new proposals for funding. Considering how close the revised Nouns.fe proposal came to approval, it's far too early to assume Nouns will stop competing in Counter-Strike.
