100 Thieves teams up with LA-based orgs to host Los Angeles Fires relief drive
In January a series of devastating wildfires began in the greater Los Angeles area, forcing mass evacuations, untold destruction to homes and business in the region, while also unfortunately causing 28 fatalities at the time of publication. Many in the esports community have also been affected by the wildfires, with the region being a hub for North American esports especially in Riot's League of Legends and VALORANT titles.
In response to these horrible events, a number of Los Angeles-based esports organizations including 100 Thieves, Liquid, FlyQuest, and Twitch have teamed up to host a relief drive for those affected by the wildfires, with 100 Thieves using their headquarters as a hub for relief efforts.
Those affected by the wildfires can RSVP for the event here, with the organizations focusing on dispersing essentials including toiletries, baby supplies, feminine products, and clothing to give out to those in need. Additionally, the teams are set to give away jerseys, memorabilia, and other clothing to help rebuild fans' collections that were potentially destroyed or damaged by the wildfires.
Those interested in donating items directly to the relief drive may do so here via 100 Thieves' Amazon link.
Additionally, those interested in direct charitable donations are encouraged to do so via the following registered charities:
