Nouns funding proposal fails

The first round of voting was not even close, only six voted for the proposal, while 120 voted against - the details of which can be found here

This is not the end of the world if you are a Nouns fan, the team can come back with a new proposal to get funding approved for their lineups. It's reasonable to expect the budget to be significantly smaller next time around.

From comments on the proposal page, a member of the Nouns DAO said:

I believe Nouns operates very differently compared to other organizations. Most esports teams do not have their decisions or investments governed by a DAO of non-endemic participants. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this; it’s just a unique approach. However, I don’t think the players fully understand that, to gain the favor of the DAO, they themselves must actively build relationships with voters. This dynamic is unlike anything they’ve experienced or even heard of before, and I don’t believe it has fully clicked for any of them yet.
