karrigan praises EliGE: "He is really smart about the game"
FaZe's IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen seems excited to play with Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski in 2025. The two are bonding at the beginning of the year as EliGE is staying over at karrigan's house for a few weeks and the Dane has nothing but admiration for the NA star.
"You can feel he (EliGE) is really smart about the game," karrigan wrote on X. "So getting some new cool perspective about the game."
Although karrigan and EliGE are just getting to know one another, this isn't the first time that the FaZe captain spoke fondly of the NA star in the past days. karrigan said right after FaZe announced EliGE's arrival that he thinks they "found an interesting role dynamic" for 2025.
EliGE will have big shoes to fill in FaZe as he joined in place of the Estonian star Robin "ropz" Kool, who departed FaZe to join Vitality. This shouldn't scare EliGE, however, as he averaged a 1.18 rating in 2024 despite Complexity's struggles, earning himself the 19th spot in HLTV's top 20.
On top of that, EliGE was noticeably looking forward to joining an EU team in 2025. The 27-year-old will make his debut for FaZe on January 16th against M80 at BLAST Bounty Season 1.
