Lycus Empire unveil new squad for Season 51

Lycus aims to make Advanced playoffs after their previous roster blew a 6-0 start to last season.

On October 20th, Lycus Empire unveiled their new roster for ESEA Advanced Season 51, seeing the organization pick up Little Red Gang following the team's 17th-24th place finish in ESEA Advanced Season 50. Lycus Empire previously hosted a roster during ESEA Advanced Season 50 that started off with an impressive 6-0 record before stumbling to a 7-7 record and missing out on playoffs.

At the center of this new lineup is the long-term relationship between Steven "drayza" Wisemore and Nickolas "g0ne" Orescanin, with the duo having played together largely continuously since early 2022 on Vireo.pro. Stormie and Rashid "Bob" Kushtov are also familiar faces to this core, as they have played with drayza, g0ne, or both on multiple occasions over the past three years.

As such, the only true newcomer to the lineup is Shawn "JoSoo" Noah Kim, with the Korean-American player joining the team after leaving Snakes Den back in June 2024. This new Lycus lineup has started Season 51 in a similar fashion to the organization's previous roster, currently boasting a 5-1 record, albeit with their only notable win thus far being over Aether.

Lycus Empire are now:

  • United States Steven "drayza" Wisemore

  • Canada Nickolas "g0ne" Orescanin

  • Canada "Stormie"

  • Rashid "Bob" Kushtov

  • Shawn "JoSoo" Noah Kim

  • United States Kurrent (Analyst)

Lycus Empire's next match in ESEA Advanced Season 51 is set to be against DiRTJaCKeRz on October 27th.
