FlyQuest, BIG into playoffs, NA duel for elimination

It was a long day of competition in Atlanta yesterday as North America's two squads vied for a spot in the playoffs. Wildcard and M80 saw out their match in the opening round of competition and now have to play once again in an elimination match later this afternoon.

Wildcard defeated ODDIK to stay alive in Atlanta, while M80 was pushed back down by BIG because they could not flawlessly make the playoffs.

In the other group, FlyQuest skated by SAW 13-9 as they cruised into the playoffs while Rooster and BetBoom are still to decide who will be going home first from Group A. SAW will be waiting for the winner of that matchup to see if they still have a chance at heading into the semifinals.

Today's big match that fans will want to see is definitely M80 v. Wildcard. The two sides have been in top form so far in ESL Challenger League play this season meaning that the two titans of NA will undoubtedly bring on a show in this best of three.

SAW v. BettBoom/Rooster begins at 05:00PM
