This NA rivalry is heating up!

Wildcard knock out ODDIK, secure rematch against M80 for Atlanta playoffs

The NA teams get to go at it one more time.

After suffering a best-of-one loss to M80 earlier in the day, Wildcard managed to rebound with a 2-0 victory against the Brazilian roster of ODDIK at ESL Challenger Atlanta. With the win, Wildcard will again face M80, this time in a best-of-three where the winners advance to playoffs while the loser heads home.

ODDIK had a rough start to the event against BIG, but their opening map against Wildcard on Nuke did not go well for them either. A strong T-side from Tim "susp" Ångström and Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek secured a 6-6 tie at half-time, before Wildcard shut out ODDIK completely in the second half to win Nuke 13-10.

On Ancient, Wildcard built another early lead thanks to another strong showing from Sonic. While ODDIK made an attempt to close the gap in the second half, Wildcard shut the door on Ancient to take the map 13-10 and close out day one of ESL Challenger Atlanta with a win.
