Jacky hosting the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals

Jacky provides eyewitness account: "[Maniac's] response is just a lie"

Jacky alleges that Maniac groped and harassed his fiancé at the G2 afterparty.

Earlier today, serious allegations were leveled against professional Counter-Strike 2 desk host and caster Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez that he had allegedly sexually assaulted multiple women at a G2-hosted afterparty for talent, players, and industry insiders at the Lafayette, an event venue by King's Cross Station in London. The two individuals, Hannah Marie and Daisy Powers, who work in the esports industry claim that Quiquerez engaged in inappropriate touching, groping, and harassment at the afterparty.

Following their own statements on X, esports talent Jack "Jacky" Peters released a four-minute video on X corroborating Powers' allegations while making his own allegations towards Quiquerez. Peters alleges that Quiquerez inappropriately touched and harassed his fiancé, Peters, by allegedly faking a fall as a pretense to "grab her boobs and her ass to hold himself up."

Peters further alleges that Quiquerez failed to own up to this "groping", making a "puppy dog face" before allegedly tripping "three or four more times" around Powers. After this, Peters and his group of friends tried to "bodyblock" Quiquerez to prevent him interacting with Powers and then removed themselves from the dance by going upstairs only for Quiquerez to follow them.

"This seems to be what he did the entire night. He would make women feel uncomfortable on the dance floor where there are too many people and too many eyes, where he was able to get away with inappropriately touching them, that seemed plausible that maybe it was an accident."

Peters also explains that "blowing up" at the time was not possible considering it was a work-adjacent event. "I'm not going to turn around and hit someone in front of my friends, my colleagues, various members of the general public. What we did was remove ourselves, protect each other. All of the people that were made to feel uncomfortable that night were looking out for one another and making sure they had each other's backs."

"It's really just disingenuous," Peters explained when discussing Quiquerez's apology:

"It wasn't just Hannah, it wasn't just Daisy, and the way you've acted that night really isn't acceptable. Just wanted to be on the record that what you've said is a lie. Effectively his response is just a lie."

Quiquerez has removed himself from the ESL Pro League broadcast as of today. Dust2.us has reached out to ESL for further comment on their current relationship with the host.
