Valve claims to fix jump bug in most recent update

But is it actually fixed?

In the release notes for the September 4 update to Counter-Strike 2, Valve has stated that it has "fixed a bug that could cause inconsistent jump heights," in addition to a small handful of other fixes.

The lack of consistency has become a much larger problem since the removal of jump binds from last month's update. The crouch-jump bug has been a constant thorn in the side of players at all levels, causing players to fail when attempting a crouch-jump up onto a ledge. Valve also claims the update will fix the jump-boost bug, which they say was caused by player collision remaining disabled "after ragdoll interaction occurred in the previous round."

Some claim though that the latest changes haven't actually fixed the issue. On reddit, players are claiming that crouch-jumping onto boxes is still unreliable and inconsistent, while other say that the jump-throw inconsistencies are still present. One user pointed out that the mid doors smoke on Dust2 and the still produces t-spawn arch jump on Mirage are still inconsistent. However, the issues on Mirage are player collision related rather than jump height.

The most recent update also added fixes to some commands, including jump, being ignored under poor network conditions, as well as a bug affecting Linux users that caused the game to hang after opening the pause menu.
