InControl return to CS with The Nomads

InControl are back in the scene after a year away from CS.

On July 31st, NA esports organization InControl announced their return to the Counter-Strike scene with the signing of The Nomads squad that recently completed their roster for ESEA Advanced Season 50. The organization's return to the game comes more than a year after previously hosting a team in the final year of CS:GO.

The organization's previous roster, which notably contained Dwight "Calix" Nguyen and Landon "landmaz" Lawrence, competed in ESEA Advanced Season 44 before being dropped in March 2023.

The Nomads' signing comes after the team's strong start to ESEA Advanced Season 50, with the team boasting a 5-0 record after wins over a number of lesser-known Advanced squads and Victorum.

With their new source of support, the former Nomads roster have also picked up a new coach, adding Antonio "Aj" Garcia after Brennan "Aureo" O’Connell left to join Limitless. Aj was previously the long-time coach of Villainous where he worked with Ty "TyRa" Aron over multiple ESEA Advanced seasons.

InControl are now:

  • United States Justin "jsfeltner" Feltner

  • Canada Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt

  • United States Mason "mason" Watkins

  • United States Ty "TyRa" Aron

  • United States Zander "FIEND" Bates

  • United States Antonio "Aj" Garcia (Coach)

InControl's next match in ESEA Advanced Season 50 is scheduled to be against Wanted Goons on August 5th.
