NRG, Wildcard continue their winning ways | ECL S48 Roundup Day 8
The final match day of week three came and went on July 31st, with Wildcard, NRG, and M80 are grabbing confident wins while Take Flyte and Limitless' poor seasons have continued as both teams are yet to find a win. With a third of the regular season concluded, the narrative of the season has began to take shape, with the league's top contenders being in a class all their own while the remaining teams have had to fight hard for wins where they can find them.
With there being so many matches on July 31st, Dust2.us has elected to focus on the four most important matches that have helped shape the narrative of the league in its third week.
Mythic 1-1 FA
Back on July 31st, Mythic won their first match of the season, splitting the Bo1x2 with FLUFFY AIMERS. Mythic have thus far had a rough season, but with there only being one direct demotion slot this season any wins they can get will be supremely important for the stream team to keep their place in ECL. With Limitless having an incredibly rough season, the goal for Mythic can be to simply outpace them and then survive Relegation which Erik "fl0m" Flom and co. have pulled off many times before.

LAG 0-2 E-Xolos LAZER 
LAG's mixed season continued with two losses to E-Xolos LAZER, including a one-sided 13-2 loss on Ancient. While LAG's 5-5 record is not at all concerning at this point in the season, there appears to be some growing pains with the recent addition of Wyatt "Weeza" Sahrmann that the team will need to work out. The team are still on course to make playoffs but as an exciting NA project the hope is to see more from LAG as we get later into the season.

NRG 2-0 BOSS
NRG smashed BOSS with two one-sided victories against the orgless team. The wins have catapulted NRG up to a 10-2 record and are the latest wins for a lineup that looks much improved with the addition of Nick "nitr0" Cannella. In particular, he has seen seemingly done much to revitalize Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Joshua "oSee" Ohm, whom are currently some of the top-rated players this season.
