Limitless return to ECL with former Unjustified core
Limitless have announced their return to ESL Challenger League with the signing of a new roster that is set to take over Carpe Diem's spot in ESL Challenger League Season 48. The roster consists of Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich, McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison, Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield, Justin "Sandman" Saulle, and Dylan "DJF" Ferreira, all players with recent ECL experience. With this new roster Limitless will look to improve on the organization's 5-23 record in ECL S47 with their previous roster that has since disbanded.
In Limitless' new team, Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich is the sole member of the former Carpe Diem lineup to make the move to this new roster, inheriting the spot following Jack "micro" Ryan's move to BOSS on July 7th.
Seb's acquisition of Carpe Diem's ECL spot set the stage for him to reunite with Cyrix and Wolffe, two former teammates he played with on Unjustified in ECL S46. Seb also has experience playing with DJF on Snakes Den back in ECL S45, while the final piece of the puzzle, Sandman, is an outsider to the roster having never crossed paths with any of his new teammates.
Due to the unique circumstances surrounding the formation of this roster, Limitless will be required to field former Carpe Diem players Jerric "wiz" Jiang and Andrew "Tender" Cote for the first eight Bo1x2 of the season to maintain the core to keep the spot. Under this arrangement, Limitless' Esports Director, Matthew "BignTallMatt" Drescher told Dust2.us that Cyrix and Sandman will sit out the first half of the season until wiz and Tender's stand-in periods are complete.
Limitless are now:
