It's G-Stew v. Liquid tomorrow
Honestly, to everyone's surprise, Jake "Stewie2k" Yip and G2 will be playing against Liquid tomorrow after defeating the world's best team in MOUZ. With Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen on the sidelines for his sister's wedding back home, the American came in as a last minute substitute. So far he has shown that he does have what it takes to hang with the best in the world as he has been a positive addition, not a detraction, to this European squad.
G2 powered through MOUZ across Inferno as they came out of the gate crushing their fellow European side on the offense. While MOUZ were able to recover some, it was always going to go G2's way as they helped get the series advantage.
MOUZ recovered while on Nuke and were able to even up the series score, but it was Ancient where the two sides got into it. G2 recovered from a 1-5 deficit as they tied it up at 6-6 by the half. Despite going down 9-6, they were able to gather themselves and push through to secure an important 13-10 victory and set up their match against Liquid.
It's not going to be an easy game for either side tomorrow. Keith "NAF" Markovic and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken will meet their former teammate on the server once again as they both vie for a spot in the playoffs.
