LIQUID KEEP NA'S DREAMS ALIVE IN DALLAS!
Man, oh man, can you believe that somehow Liquid are staying alive in IEM Dallas after that brutal Nuke gameplay and then almost losing an 11-6 lead on Ancient? Well, somehow they did and it was almost entirely thanks to Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and his incredible performance on the second map.
Liquid now have stayed alive in this competition and will keep NA fans hopes alive that they will be able to make it to the main stage in Dallas for the weekend.
Nuke was a difficult match for the international roster as Liquid could barely get anything going on their T-side. The squad were held to only three offensive rounds as Falcons looked incredibly comfortable on their map pick.
The next half was just as bad as the first as Liquid only mustered three rounds on their T-side as Falcons won the map 13-6.
Ancient was looking like a completely different Liquid had showed up on the server as Twistzz lead the way towards his squad gaining a ridiculous 9-3 first half advantage.
Things got a little hairy in the second half when Liquid got to their 11th round as Falcons mounted a comeback. However, just when things were looking their worst, Liquid were able to close it out and even up the score.
Anubis was a constantly never ending battle of nerves as Liquid's T-side struggled to gain any momentum until the game was well under way. Liquid finally got into the half, but it was a just a little late as they only claimed five rounds to keep it at 5-7.
The second half was tense as Liquid struggled to gain back their momentum, but found a breakthrough as they were able to hold the Europeans at bay and somehow secure a crucial 13-10 victory to win the series.
