Update: Veloz set to disband as Aidan departs ESEA roster
With Aidan "Aidan" Higgason leaving Veloz's roster last night the 2-1 team will likely become ESEA Premier Season 37's first roster to disband. The team only have two roster moves remaining and Filip "Feedalee" Mitevski would have to enlist the assistance of at least one of Veloz's coaching staff to field a roster for the remainder of the season.
Aidan's departure comes as no surprise, as his demanding summer work schedule was the impetus for the team electing to cut Cody "Domorin" Lutzel to make room for both Walker "walker" Harris and Brett "brett" Rhein, which started this whole cascade of events. When that transaction fell through, the team was left with just two more roster moves and three spaces to fill after Kevin "consti" Yi departed the lineup early yesterday morning to join Kinship in ESEA Advanced.
As previously mentioned, the roster could still be viable if Feedalee is able to convince Richie "sherps" Sherpa to pug out the season, recruit two new players, and recruit Taylor "ioRascal" Hays to play, but Feedalee told Dust2.us that their analyst "won't play" and that the roster is "most likely" dead.
Veloz were:
- Filip "Feedalee" Mitevski
- Richie "sherps" Sherpa
- Taylor "ioRascal" Hays (Analyst)
Feedalee noted that he will explore his options for this season, or wait for the offseason if quality opportunities are not there. He also noted that sherps is not looking for opportunities in CS:GO at this time.
Update: Following the publication of this article Szymon "LAJT" Jaworski reached out to Dust2.us on Twitter to clarify that he parted ways with the roster following the removal of Cody "Domorin" Lutzel, which he had no prior knowledge of. The article now reflects that knowledge.
