Oceanus add miLLe and YuZ
Oceanus have added Michael "miLLe" St-Pierre and Brandon "YuZ" Cyr to their lineup. The French Canadian duo join in place of Wayne "castro" Einarsson and Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes, who left the team on February 24th.
This move marks miLLe's official return to CS:GO after focusing on VALORANT for much of 2020. Prior to joining Oceanus on a permanent basis, miLLe stood-in for the team during the DreamHack Open March qualifiers alongside Sean "Inseaniac" Morrison.
YuZ meanwhile returned to CS:GO at the start of Season 35, managing to make playoffs with ex-Thunder Logic. After that he started ESEA Premier Season 36 with GGPR, playing with the team for around a week before stepping down due to scheduling issues.
Oceanus with the addition of the two French Canadians are now:
- David "J0LZ" Jolin
- Alex "vek" Voynov
- Cedric "Melio" Perrault
- Michael "miLLe" St-Pierre
- Brandon "YuZ" Cyr
Oceanus' new roster debuted on Wednesday night against Eclipse, picking up a 2-0 win to see their record climb to 4-3. They also finished 5-8th in the qualifier for DreamHack Masters Spring, suffering a quadruple-overtime loss to High Coast.
Their next match will be against Watch This on March 10th.
