FaZe condemn FURIA to 0-2 pool
After a brutal first game of the Elimination Stage against G2 that saw FURIA lose 3-13, they were forced into an unfortunate 0-1 matchup against the upset Europeans of FaZe. The teams decided on Ancient for the BO1 battle ground.
The game started with a FaZe CT-pistol victory, but FURIA quickly bounced back with the force-buy, putting the momentum in their favor. The panthers jumped to an early 5-2 lead, but the sleeping giants woke up near the tail end of the half to even up the score 6-6.
Onto FaZe's T-side, it was over before it began. Pistol round turned into the anti-eco victory turned into a first gun round victory. With FaZe on victory's doorstep at 11-6, it looked like FURIA could finally win a round, but it was Robin "ropz" Kool's 1v4 ace clutch to secure map point. FURIA whimpered with a round rebuttal of their own, but the comeback never materialized as FaZe won 13-7.
