Legacy send Apeks packing; one series away from advancing
After a 1-1 finish to day one and a loss against GamerLegion in day two, Legacy found themselves one series away from being eliminated from the PGL Copenhagen Major. They would have to win against Apeks, who also found themselves with a 1-2 record after falling against paiN and Imperial, previously.
The series started off on Ancient, Apeks' pick. Legacy had previously beaten FURIA in this same map, but this time they completely destroyed Apeks' hopes of making something out of the European's offensive half. Legacy led 9-3 at halftime and, after a couple of comeback rounds from Apeks, the Brazilians would take a 1-0 lead after a 13-7 Ancient win.
Inferno's first half wasn't as successful for Legacy, but it was still pretty solid as Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato's men were still able to put together five round wins on the T-side. Once again, over on the CT-side, the Brazilian defense looked impenetrable, as Apeks lost five in a row and watched Legacy's lead increase to 10-7. Legacy would go on to not lose a single round on the defense and win the match 13-7.
Legacy now await to see who their 2-2 opponents are, as the Brazilians are just one series away from advancing to the Elimination Stage.
