Rocket, Carpe Diem complete Ace NA Masters Spring team list

The final qualifier for the Ace NA Masters Spring qualifier came to an end on January 27th, seeing the favorites in the form of Rocket and Carpe Diem easily make their way into the eight-team event. While the first open qualifier was jam packed with top ESL Challenger League teams, the participation for the second qualifier was a fair bit more muted with Carpe Diem, Rocket, FLUFFY AIMERS, and MIGHT being the top teams in attendance.

With this, the qualifier played out largely uneventfully until the quarterfinals, with that stage of the bracket seeing Rocket narrowly best Limitless 13-11 on Anubis, LAG beat FLUFFY AIMERS 13-11 on Mirage, Peruvian squad CatEvil upset my life be like 13-9 on Anubis, and finally Carpe Diem crushing LOS 13-4.

In the qualifying round, Rocket took down LAG 2-0 to lock in their spot in the closed qualifier, but not without a close affair with LAG making a good showing of themselves. After Rocket claimed Vertigo 13-8, LAG managed to force Mirage into overtime before Rocket ultimately took the map 16-12.

The other series was quite interesting, as CatEvil managed to take map one, Nuke, 16-13 over Carpe Diem. After this, the series continued to be incredibly close as Carpe Diem had to rally and take Inferno 13-11 and then Ancient 16-14 in overtime.

With Rocket and Carpe Diem qualifying, the team list for the event is now as follows:

The Ace North American Masters Spring 2024 is set to start on February 1st and will see one team qualify to the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 in Europe.
