Nouns headline Ace NA Masters Closed Qualifier invites

The top four teams from North America, excluding Complexity, who are BLAST Partners, and M80 who are in Europe in a bootcamp before IEM Katowice starts, have been invited to the Ace North American Masters Spring 2024 Closed Qualifier where they will fight for a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.

The Spring Showdown will feature a brand-new format, as teams from all regions will travel to Europe to join those who failed to qualify directly to the BLAST Premier Spring Final from BLAST Premier Spring Groups.

Badass, BOSS, Nouns, and Party Astronauts were notably missing from the list of teams playing in the open qualifier which started two days ago, hinting that the group would be invited to the Closed Qualifier, something that is now confirmed.

From the first open qualifier, Wildcard and NRG have joined the Closed Qualifier and the six teams will meet the last two participants on the 27th of January after the second open qualifier ends.

Only the winner of the Closed Qualifier will reach the Showdown, where they will meet ten teams from the BLAST Premier Spring Groups and the winners of the Ace South American Masters qualifier, the West EU Masters qualifier, the East EU Masters qualifiers, the 5E Arena Asia qualifier, and the Iberia Spring Cup qualifier. The only two teams confirmed in the Showdown, so far, are Complexity and OG.
