Rocket make last minute roster change

With ECL's regular season ending tonight, Rocket's change is really down to the wire.

ESL Challenger League Season 46 squad Rocket have made a last-minute change to their roster, seeing former Eros White player Nelvin "nooz" Gonzalez replace Blake "Elk" Swinson on November 21st. This move comes at the very end of ECL S46's regular season, with Rocket bringing nooz in on the penultimate day of comeptition.

The move comes as Rocket have had a less than ideal season, currently sitting at a 3-7 record if dead teams are discounted. However, with this record, Rocket have managed to steer clear of Relegation and actually have a slim chance of making playoffs. With their 2-1 win over Reason last night, should Rocket rally around nooz in their last two matches tonight, the team could finish as high as seventh place.

The decision to replace Elk with nooz came down to Elk electing to take a break from competition according to Damian "droid" Boulware, opening the door for nooz to quickly find a new home.

Rocket are now:

  • United States Christopher "aleph" Froden

  • United States Matthew "nero" Seymour

  • United States Damian "droid" Boulware

  • United States Emerson "R2D2J" L.

  • Nelvin "nooz" Gonzalez

Rocket are set to play two must-win matches tonight if they want to make ECL playoffs. Their first match will be against FLUFFY AIMERS at 05:30PM while they will be taking on M80 at 08:00PM.
