Wildcard sign two-year extension with Brazilian coach

Wildcard are seemingly here for the long haul.

Today, Wildcard's Brazilian coach, João "horvy" Horvath, has announced that he has signed a two-year contract extension with the organization, seeing his services retained until 2026. The decision sees horvy receive a strong vote of confidence from Wildcard's owner after helping the organization navigate their first six months in Counter-Strike.

During this time, horvy helped lead Wildcard's original squad as they rose to become a top squad in the domestic NA scene; as well as during their first bootcamp in Warsaw. Additionally, he was a key voice in the shock decision to replace their old squad with a new team oriented around Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, a decision made to ideally take Wildcard to the next level.

From another perspective, Wildcard's decision to back horvy until 2026 suggests the organization is invested into Counter-Strike 2 long-term, great news as NA looks to find its footing once again

As a reminder, Wildcard consists of:

  • Canada Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz

  • United States Gage "Infinite" Green

  • United States Josh "JBa" Barutt

  • United States Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan

  • Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek

  • Brazil João "horvy" Horvath (Co-Coach)

  • United States Matt "Warden" Dickens (Co-Coach)
