MDL Recap Week 1 & 2 - Chaos at the start of the season
After a long delay leading up to the start of the season, the first two weeks of MDL Season 33 have finally come to an end, with just seven matches having been played.
Mythic survived a brutal quadruple overtime affair against Monstars last week, and managed to earn a spot at the top of the standings as they stunned eUnited on Tuesday with a 16-8 victory on Vertigo. Meanwhile, Monstars continued to fumble as they fell 9-16 to Station7, leaving Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce and company with an 0-2 start in the season.
Joshua "steel" NIssan's Chaos roster, who now reside entirely in the team's apartments in Arizona, completely dismantled Station7 with a 16-0 battering on Nuke this week, pulling off a flawless T-side to cement their name as a contender this season. Rugratz, meanwhile, were able to split wins, defeating Asuna's Anime Aimers 16-5 before suffering a 12-16 defeat to Bad News Bears.
