Who are NA's top-rated players in the CS2 Beta?
With the release of the most recent big update for the Counter-Strike 2 Beta, Valve have introduced seasonal global and regional leaderboards to track which players have the highest ELO in the game's Premier gamemode. With it being about a week at the time of writing for the new mode, the leaderboard in North America has been extremely active as players looked to be the best in the Beta.
With that in mind, Dust2.us has compiled a list of the top five players in North America at the moment:

Jolene "jaro" Aro (月光) - 27,450 ELO
jaro currently occupies the top spot in North America with an impressive 500+ ELO lead over second place. While jaro is not a currently active pro, she previously played at the Advanced level and in the women's scene back in 2018. She also previously played in Open on Pond alongside the likes of Logan "Voltage" Long and Ryan "Snakes" Amann.
#2 slump - 26,915 ELO
Not much is know about slump with the player seemingly having never played in ESEA league or having any matches played on HLTV. He is however, a streamer on Twitch where he has been streaming his journey to being one of the highest ELO players in North America. It is worth noting however that slump is seemingly banned on FACEIT for smurfing, so hopefully his current CS2 ELO isn't a result of boosting or smurfing.

David "J0LZ" Jolin - 26,530 ELO
J0LZ doesn't need a whole lot of introduction as a current active North American pro player. The French-Canadian rifler is currently playing on WITHOUTWARNING in ESL Challenger League Season 46 alongside the likes of Gabe "Spongey" Greiner and Saad "Pluto" Siraj. His team commitments haven't got in the way of grinding CS2 however, and he is currently the only pro in the top ten.
#4 Cactus - 26,416 ELO
Cactus is an ESEA Advanced/Main player with one season of Main playoffs under his belt. Not much is known about the player outsides of his achievements, which include him having the 35th highest ELO on FACEIT among American players.
#5 juiceboy2014 - 26,326 ELO
The final member of the current top five is juiceboy2014. juiceboy is a high ELO player on FACEIT and has a few seasons of ESEA Advanced and Main under his belt. juiceboy2014 has also been streaming his CS2 journey and is looking to continue chasing the leaderboard in the coming days and weeks.
These five players represent the most dedicated and committed names to playing the CS2 beta, but only time will tell who will finish the leaderboard on the top ahead of the official release of CS:GO's sequel.
