Leaker indicates potential Zeus skins for CS2
The Zeus x27 is arguably one of the most "meme" weapons that, surprisingly, is effective enough to change the course of a round. The one-shot stun gun is always good for a cheap laugh, but some fans have wondered why the weapon never received a unique skin, despite every other weapon having one.
According to metadata insider Aquarius, noticed that Valve had updated the CS2 weapon models on the resource page. As the leaker notes, this "basically confirms, that Zeus skins are going to be a real thing". While the tools are not yet available, you can start making CS2 skins now.
For some, this is great news. Especially for the twitter account @Skins4Zeus who has been campaigning for skins to be added since 2019. After making a tweet celebrating the news, the official account responded in traditional Counter-Strike fashion, with an office GIF.
It's not the first time that Zeus skins have been brought up. Back in March, @GabeFollower noted that Valve had added an inspect button for the Zeus and had made the model "skinnable". All signs are pointing to a future of skins for the stun-gun, but nothing official has been confirmed just yet.
