Wildcard set to field Serbian coach this weekend
Dust2.us has confirmed with Wildcard that they are set to test Serbian IGL, Aleksa "Impulse" Stankić, as their coach in this weekend's ESEA Cash Cup Circuit event. The trial of the former 4glory player comes as the Detonate/Wildcard have been on the lookout for a new coach for some time following the departure of Joshua "m1cks" Micks in mid-April.
Impulse is an experienced IGL/AWPer in the Balkan scene, with his career in the region dating back to early 2016. He was the previously the IGL of Valiance, an organization that would go on to become the more well-known CR4ZY. During this time, Impulse worked with a number of top names in the Balkans, including Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, current TYLOO coach Nestor "LETN1" Tanić, and a young Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač.
Should Wildcard be pleased with services during his trial and sign with him, he would be a well-tenured pick in the vein of Philippe "Winspai" Mølgaard Ouabaid, with whom Wildcard tested but were unable to close on.
Wildcard will play this weekend's ESEA Cash Cup Circuit event with:
-
Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore
-
Adam "freshie" Paterson
-
Jack "micro" Ryan
-
Brett "brett" Rhein
-
Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan
-
Aleksa "Impulse" Stankić (Coach)
The fifth ESEA Cash Cup Circuit event is set to start on April 29th.
