7AM eliminated by fellow British team BLVKHVND
The British-Swedish team 7AM have been eliminated from the Last Chance Qualifier of Fragadelphia 17. Their elimination follows a 1-2 loss to Evil Geniuses White in the final upper bracket round earlier in the day. After claiming the first map Vertigo over EG, they were unable to keep up the momentum and lost Inferno and Nuke 16:12 and 16:0 respectively.
Falling to the lower bracket, one of the two British teams' fates was already secured due to how the seeding played out. BLVKHVND and 7AM were matched up in the final round which was both an elimination and qualification match. Although 7AM managed to defeat Limitless and take a map off EG, they were unable to outshine BLVKHVND in the series.
Kicking off on BLVKHVND's pick of Dust2, both teams secured five T-side rounds and ten CT-side rounds, sending the first map to overtime. Going into the first overtime, both teams also managed to secure three CT rounds each, moving the match into a second overtime. This time, BLVKHVND were able to secure a T-side round, which added to their repeated three CT rounds, meaning they closed out the map 22:20.
The second map, 7AM's pick of Nuke, potentially sent shivers down the spines of both their players and fans after the 16:0 loss to EG earlier. Despite picking the map, 7AM were only able to pick up four T-side rounds in their opening half. Switching sides, BLVKHVND showed they were the better team securing five T rounds and ending the map early at 16:7.
In-game leader of BLVKHVND, Fraser "Frazehh" Sollom stood out during the match posting a 1.39 rating, opposed to the carrying Swedes on 7AM. On the other hand, Oscar "LVN" Levin, who is in-game leader of 7AM, managed to place at the bottom of the board with only a 0.69 rating. Thanks to William "zyyx" Sjögren and Herman "1Knas" Hattevig, with 1.30 and 1.25 respective ratings, 7AM were at least able to keep Dust2 competitve.

BLVKHVND have been seeded into Group C for the main event tomorrow. Their opening match will be versus ATK at 12:00PM. Should they win, or lose, they will be playing the respective winner or loser of Davenport versus EG Black.
