Over in FPL-C the first week of 2019 has also come to a close, with Masked's most recent pickup of Nathan "leaf" Orf topping the board over 100 points above his closest competition in Mythic's Adam "Polen" Polen.

Here are the top 10 players from the first week of January for FPL-C:

Rank Name Points Prize $
1. United States Nathan "leaf" Orf 1,194 $250
2. United States Adam "Polen" Polen 1,088 $200
3. United States Mike "Swisher" Schmid 1,086 $150
4. Canada Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley 1,084 $100
5. United States Austin "RenZ" Dickman 1,084 $50

8. Canada "Vila" 1,058
9. United States Dylan "Hiki" O'Kane 1,054
10. United States Tyler "tweiss" Weiss 1,052

Unlike the close margins in the previous two weeks, leaf pulled far ahead of second place by winning 25 of his 32 matches played. While leaf comfortably sat in first place, the remaining slots in the top five were heavily contested, with Polen edging out second place with a two point lead over leaf's Masked teammate Mike "Swisher" Schmid.

A two-way tie for fourth and fifth place saw Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley net himself an extra $50 despite having played and won the same number of matches as Austin "RenZ" Dickman this past week, while last week's FPL-C winner, CLG Red coach Stephan "vEz" Vezina, came in at seventh.
