FPL/FPL-C Recap - wippie whips up a win
The final week of FPL for 2018 has concluded, and Russian transplant Maxim "wippie" Shepelev has taken first place this week. On his way to the top, Braxton "swag" Pierce seemed set to overtake wippie managing an impressive 8 game winning streak to tie wippie at 252 points. However, wippie was able to hold on to his position and claim the extra chunk of change.

Jake "Stewie2K" Yip was able to claim a top placing again this week after winning last week, something Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Blake "Strings" Stringer were interestingly unable to do after their first place finishes in previous weeks. Additionally, this week once again saw a fair number of pro players climb the leaderboard. Besides Stewie2K, Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan just barely missed out on the top 20 by 2 points and Nick "nitr0" Cannella finished in 28th place, 10 points away from top 20.

Just like last week, this week of FPL-C was incredibly close, with less than 100 points separating 10th place from 1st place. Additionally, this week saw a two-way tie not just between 1st and 2nd place, but also between 3rd and 4th place; highlighting the high degree of competition between the players looking to fight their way into FPL.
