ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals talent announced
ESL have announced the ten-man broadcast talent team that will be the voices and faces of the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals in Odense. The majority of the talent lineup consists of the European online broadcast team, although O.J. Borg and James Banks have been added as stage host and sideline reporter, respectively.
Tres "stunna" Saranthus will join the desk from the North American broadcast team, while Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett will also be present as the only two representatives from our side of the water. Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill will again make an appearance on the analyst desk alongside Jacob "Pimp" Winneche and Joona "natu" Leppänen, the former of whom will be the only Danish representative on the talent list with the absence of Anders Blume.
This will be Astralis' first chance to secure the Intel Grand Slam $1,000,000 prize purse, as a victory at the 16-team event would become their fourth at an ESL or DreamHack Masters event in eight tries. They are only the second team to have the opportunity to complete the feat, with FaZe missing out on their chance when they were eliminated at DreamHack Masters Stockholm.
The full talent team for ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals will be:
- O.J. Borg - Stage Host
- Tres "stunna" Saranthus - Desk Host
- James Banks - Reporter
- Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill - Analyst
- Joona "natu" Leppänen - Analyst
- Jacob "Pimp" Winneche - Analyst
- Henry "HenryG" Greer - Caster
- Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett
- Harry "JustHarry" Russell - Caster
- Hugo Byron - Caster
