Report: kioShiMa to stand in for Cloud9 at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen*
According to a report from VPEsports.com, Cloud9 are set to utilise Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey for the upcoming BLAST Pro Series stop in Copenhagen. He replaces Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham in the roster, after the American announced he was stepping back from competitive play.
Cloud9 have so far been using Skadoodle in online events while they look for a permanent fifth. According to the report, he will not travel to Copenhagen and Cloud9 will not have filled a permanent spot in the roster before November 2nd, with the organization leaning on kioShiMa to fill the gap.
kioShiMa has been without a regular team since June, when EnVyUs withdrew from French CS:GO. Since then he has filled in for a number of teams and acted as a member of the broadcast talent for a number of events, including BLAST Pro Series Istanbul. He was most recently on the LeftOut roster in the Europe Minor open qualifier, alongside previous teammates Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Alexandre "xms" Forté. He is not set to take part in the next open qualifier, due to being in a bootcamp with Cloud9.
Cloud9's roster for BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen will be:
- Timothy "autimatic" Ta
- Will "RUSH" Wierzba
- Maikil "Golden" Selim
- Robin "flusha" Rönnquist
- Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey (stand-in)
- Soham "valens" Chowdhury (Coach)
Cloud9's first match at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen will be against Natus Vincere in the first round of the group stage at 1 PM EDT on November 2nd.
UPDATE: Cloud9 have confirmed that kioShiMa will stand-in for them at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen.
