kassad rejoins Renegades

After suddenly appearing behind Renegades at StarLadder i-League Season 6, it has been confirmed by members of Renegades that Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović has made a return to Renegades as the team's permanent coach for the time being. kassad's move to Renegades also sees his departure from Valiance, who he had coached previously after his departure from Renegades earlier this year.

kassad's reprisal as Renegades' coach comes following an overhaul of the team's roster, sparked by the departure of Steve "Ryu" Rattacasa, with the team seeing off Noah "Nifty" Francis and Karlo "USTILO" Pivac in favor of Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai and Jay "liazz" Tregillgas shortly afterwards.

kassad had previously joined Renegades in January of 2017, replacing Nicholas "peekay" Wise as the team's Coach. The Serbian coach stuck with the team through multiple events, before eventually parting ways with the team in May of 2018 following a group stage exit at the EPL Finals in Dallas. 

In an interview with HLTV, Aaron "AZR" Ward stated that he brought kassad back onto the team to help as he transitions over to the role as the team's in-game leader with the loss of Nifty to Envy.
