FPL Recap - food makes return to the top after six weeks out

After multiple attempts at the crown, the Gorilla Gang rifler is back on top.

Another week ending means that FPL once again sees more players pick up cash prizes. This time around it's the October opener, and it sees Victor "food" Wong return to the top of the ladder for the first time since the middle of August.

The week sees the first appearance of Robin "flusha" Rönnquist on the table, as he commences his permanent residency in North America. No matter his thoughts on the league, he still ended up fourth in the league.

Last week's champion, Samuel "SileNt" Portillo drops a couple of spaces to third, separated from the top spot by eUnited's Michael "dapr" Gulino. The top 20 also saw a debut for Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai, as the New Zealander starts a new journey in North America with Renegades. Promoted from FPL-C at the end of last month, David "Sneaky" Polster takes a 16th place finish.

Once again, we'll take a quick look at the current standings of the Challenger division, and with October beginning it's a new season with all points reset. So far, it's youngster Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak who occupies the top spot in the standings, but that doesn't matter yet as the month has only begun.
