Rogue EPL and ECS roster becomes kRYSTAL clear
After losing Casper "cadiaN" Møller in an inter-continental transfer just before the start of the season, Rogue have acquired the services of Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend to compete in the upcoming ECS and ESL Pro League seasons.
kRYSTAL had previously been on loan at Ghost, from Imperial, on a trial period, however the German had announced toward the end of September that such a trial was unsuccessful. It is from there that Rogue started taking a look at the IGL, after cadiaN moved on to North.
Dust2.us had previously reported that Rogue were deciding between picking up Pujan "FNS" Mehta and kRYSTAL, before the team had opted for the German. Since then, Dust2.us have further learned that the decision may have been mutual between the Canadian and the organization, as there were certain members of the team he did not wish to play with.
kRYSTAL joins Rogue on a free transfer, after he was released by Imperial at the end of September. The announcement comes a day after he tweeted a picture of him by a swimming pool, presumably in Las Vegas, which is Rogue's headquarters.
The new Rogue roster is as follows:
- Daniel "vice" Kim
- Spencer "Hiko" Martin
- Hunter "SicK" Mims
- Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
- Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore (coach)
With the 48-hour rule seemingly made defunct, as displayed through fnatic's acquisition of Simon "twist" Eliasson earlier in the day and with the Swede set to play for the team tomorrow, kRYSTAL will be able to be in action for Rogue in their ESL Pro League opener against Luminosity tonight at 8:25 PM EDT.
