device led the way for Astralis against Renegades

Nifty and Renegades get crushed by Astralis in Malmö

The Danes left Renegades seeing stars after a 16-3 thrashing in the opening match of Group B

Fielding Swede David "Jayzwalkingz" Kempner did nothing to help Renegades chances against Astralis, as the world #2 ranked Danes rolled over the Australian-American-Swedish side on Train.

Renegades won the opening pistol, but it was primarily downhill from there, with only in-game leader Noah "Nifty" Francis managing to reach a double-digit kill count. Astralis's victory was all but assured after they won their T-side pistol in the second half, sending Renegades to the elimination match.
