District 7 and players part ways

The French Canadian squad will no longer be representing the fledgling organization

Shortly before their Grand Finals match against Rise Nation in ESEA Premier, the players of District 7 were seen sporting a "L4Org" tag. They would go on to lose that match, and now dust2.us can confirm that the players and organization have parted ways as a result of a disagreement between the team and owner Max "PapaMax" Lalonge.

The split comes after a run of good form for the French Canadians, which saw them qualify for the ESEA Season 25 Global Challenge LAN and ECS Season 4 Development League, as well as a 5-6th finish at Fragadelphia 11. Unfortunately for the squad, they failed to qualify for hometown event DreamHack Montreal, as a result of losing to fellow Premier team Naventic in the qualifier.

The former District 7 team will next see action on September 2nd, where they will face compLexity in their opening match of ECS Development League.
