oNe down to four after parting ways with drg
Pedro "drg" Lima has been released from oNe, according to a report from ESPN Esports Brazil. The move follows lackluster results for the team both online and on LAN, with their most recent loss coming at the hands of VG.Flash for WCA Finals in China.
drg's short stint on a squad has come to an end after he was picked up in the wake of Caike "caike" Silva's departure a month ago. Sources within the team tell ESPN Esports Brazil that drg was always supposed to be a temporary replacement for caike, and now look to find a permanent fifth to fill the vacant slot.
A report from HLTV.org indicates that oNe initially looked to Lucas "steel" Lopes, Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe, and Lucas "destiny" Bullo to fill the slot, but visa issues for the latter two players following steel's signing to Luminosity saw all three players taken off the list.
Nicolás "NikoM" Miozzi from Isurus currently sits at the top of that list according to ESPN Esports Brazil. Alef "tatazin" Pereira and Denis "dzt" Fischer of Virtue are also being considered alongside players from Sharks, FURIA, and YeaH!.
drg has reportedly returned to Brazil, and oNe plans to field coach Olavo "chucky" Napoleão in his stead until a replacement for drg is found.
oNe's roster now consists of:
- Pedro "Maluk3" Campos
- Victor "iDk" Torraca
- Alencar "trk" Rossato
- Jean Michel "mch" D'Oliveira
- Olavo "cky" Napoleão (Coach)
