oNe set to complete roster with drg
Just a mere few days after parting ways with Caike "caike" Silva, oNe have secured the services of Pedro "drg" Lima to fill the vacant slot on their roster, Dust2.us has learned.
drg is a relatively unknown player in the Brazilian subtop scene, his only noteworthy tournament appearances being in Liga Profissional Alienware Gamers Club for November and December under O2. The team failed to impress, faltering in the group stage on both occasions.
oNe and O2 are both owned by Alexandre "kakavaL" Peres, effectively making O2 an academy team for oNe and allowing for the team to quickly find a replacement after caike's departure.
oNe are currently competing in the Gfinity Winter Series, though drg will not be eligible to participate there due to the end of season roster lock. The team will have much to prove coming off their semifinal finish at WESG after taking down Major champions Cloud9 — will they be able to show that their victory wasn't a one-off, and continue to improve?
oNe's roster will now be:
- Pedro "Maluk3" Campos
- Victor "iDk" Torraca
- Alencar "trk" Rossato
- Jean Michel "mch" D'Oliveira
- Pedro "drg" Lima
- Olavo "cky" Napoleão (Coach)
drg is set to make his debut with the team later today in the DreamHack Masters Marseilles Open Qualifier. oNe will face stiff competition, as teams like eUnited and OpTic are lurking after being passed over for invites to the Closed Qualifier.
