tyfoon leaves Mask Off to chase checks elsewhere
After closing out his final game in the Mountain Dew League, tyfoon announced his time was up with Mask Off in a Twitter statement:
tyfoon started with Ryan "GRAMPZ" Baber last season for a brief period on Beacon eSports. After their quick playoff exit, the org and roster broke up, leaving tyfoon and GRAMPZ to retain the MDL spot.
Under the Mask Off name, they entered Season 27 of the MDL with Anthony "Vanity" Malaspina, Cameron "Hydrex" Kern, and Tyler "tweiss" Weiss. Closing out the season they swapped their AWPer Vanity for Joel "jcrueL" Cruel. With an 8-8 finish, Mask Off avoids relegation, as long as two players stay on the roster for next season, but they miss out on playoffs.
Mask Off's roster is now:

- Joel "jcrueL" Cruel
Keith "Seaside" LaFortune (Coach)
tyfoon leaves them behind to worry about the retention of their MDL spot, and now looks to the greener off-season pastures of FPL-C as well opportunities with other teams for Season 28.
