sfX to pay hospital fees of PTRIP
Jasper "sfX" Ko revealed on Twitter this morning that he is being required by court to pay the hospital fees of Alex "PTRIP" Kruszewski as a result of the altercation that took place at the Mad City Chicago Open LAN back in March.
If you happened to miss what happened in Chicago, sfX from the x1 Mob approached PTRIP from RivaL during a tournament day over a beef that had taken place online. This led to a short physical back and forth where PTRIP was taken to the hospital for a shoulder injury and sfX was briefly arrested.
This led to both players being disqualified from the rest of the tournament and their teams fielded stand ins for their final games. sfX also mentioned that PTRIP decided not to press charges as a result of the altercation, but because he was the instigator of the situation, he is still required to pay the fees.
This is likely the end of the Mad City Chicago saga, but the next of the N3rd Street Gamers Eastern Conference open tournaments will be in Washington, D.C. in August.
