RES fall to Squared fe in Katowice
In the Group B winners match at the Intel Challenge Katowice, RES were set to take on Squared, who took down CLG Red earlier today. The map chosen was Cobblestone, with RES starting on the Terrorist side.
Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova led her team to a big 10-5 lead at the half, something which is more impressive considering Squared took the pistol round. The full European squad came out guns blazing on their T side however, as another pistol round and six rounds in a row put them in the lead. RES could only take two more rounds before Squared closed out the game and took Cobblestone 16-12.
The new member of RES, Christine "potter" Chi, didn't perform too hot in this match, only putting up eight frags in 28 rounds. She will likely need to step up if RES hope to win the event.
