
Update: BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 groups, opening matches announced
Update March 6th: BLAST announced The Huns will replace ATOX in BLAST Open Lisbon. According to BLAST, ATOX are "currently subject to a provisional suspension from all ESIC Member events." The article has been updated to reflect this fact as the seeding and some of the opening matches changed.
BLAST announced on February 26th the seeding, groups, and opening matches for BLAST Open Lisbon. The $400,000 LAN tournament kicks off on March 19 at the tournament organizer's Copenhagen studio before moving to Lisbon for the playoffs.
Twelve of the 16 teams in attendance were invited. M80, Imperial, Astralis, and The Huns, who earned a spot through their respective region's qualifier.
All the 16 teams who will attend BLAST Open Lisbon were seeded per the Valve Ranking:

The BLAST Open Lisbon group stage will comprise of two eight-team double-elimination groups. Only the top six teams of the group stage will advance to the playoffs in Lisbon.
