Legacy arrive in North America after two months in Brazil

After two months in South America Legacy have arrived in North America for ESL Challenger League Season 49, Legacy's manager, Américo "AM3VERDE" Verde, has confirmed to Dust2.us. Legacy had previously competed in North America from August to December 2024 before returning home to Brazil for the holidays and then competing in the region from January to February.

During the Brazilian squad's time in South America, the team notably topped the IEM Dallas 2025 South American qualifier, earning the squad their first LAN berth since the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR. Additionally, the more robust South American scene allowed Legacy to compete in a number of ranked VRS events, allowing the squad to climb up to twelfth place in the Americas VRS.

Now that Legacy are back in the United States, the squad will aim to make playoffs in ECL S49 and ultimately claim a spot in ESL Pro League Season 22 by topping the league. After that, the team will need to return to Brazil to compete in the South American MRQ for the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Legacy will finally make their ESL Challenger League Season 49 debut tomorrow against LAG at 09:00PM.
